When you’re enjoying the fresh mountain air on a trip to Steamboat Springs, you’re experiencing nature at its finest. At Euphoria Day Spa, we believe this connection to nature should extend into your spa experience. We only incorporate organic products into our spa treatments, from calming bakuchiol to healing honey.
Below, we highlight some of our favorite clean ingredients and how their properties benefit our spa customers, immediately and weeks later.
Nourishing Facial Ingredients

Many people come to us to restore their complexion after a few days in the dry Colorado mountain air. To get your skin looking refreshed and moisturized, we incorporate specific ingredients into our facials:
Bakuchiol
For centuries, Indian Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine practitioners have been using bakuchiol for its healing properties. It’s extracted from the Psoralea corylifolia plant that grows in India. In more recent decades, the West has adopted the ingredient for its healing properties for the skin. Bakuchiol has been found to smooth and calm skin, fade discolorations, and restore skin firmness.
Thyme
Thyme oil is packed full of antibacterial compounds that calm irritated skin. It can be particularly effective for those struggling with acne, as its antimicrobial effects have been found to kill microorganisms on the skin. We combine thyme with organic teas, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, to infuse moisture back into dry or damaged skin.
Vitamin C
If you’re dealing with dull skin, Vitamin C acts as a shot of hydration. Vitamin C brightens skin while preventing the breakdown of collagen, keeping your skin looking firm and refreshed. The Vitamin C product that we use, Circadia’s Vitamin C Reversal Serum, also includes sodium hyaluronate, which hydrates your skin as it repairs your moisture barrier. It also contains Provitamin B5, which heals any skin irritations.
Pain-Relieving Ingredients for Your Massage
You’ve likely been skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring around Steamboat Springs. When you lie down for your massage, your body may be a bit more tender than it was before you arrived. To help you fully relax, we can incorporate ingredients into your body treatments that reduce soreness during your massage and after.
CBD
A compound derived from the hemp plant, CBD does not induce any mood-altering effects. Instead, it impacts specific pain receptors in your brain to mitigate the pain you’re experiencing. This means that within a few minutes of applying CBD oil to a sore spot, you’ll notice how that tenderness just melts away. Because of these fast-acting results, we can incorporate CBD oils and balms into your massage—targeting any sore muscles and chronic pain you’ve been dealing with.
We use CBD products from Lost Range, a local, Steamboat Springs brand that uses Colorado hemp plants grown on small, family-owned farms.
Honey
If you’re dealing with dry skin on your feet or cracked heels, you know just how painful walking around (or skiing!) can be. In addition to our full-body massage, we offer specialized foot treatments to bring life back to your toes. We apply Farmhouse Fresh’s Honey Heel Glaze, which infuses intense hydration back into your feet through a combination of honey, rice bran oil, Vitamins E, C, B5, live papaya & pineapple cells, and aloe vera. To really lock in the moisture, we wrap your feet in warm steamed towels as the glaze works its magic. By the end of your treatment, you’ll be shocked at the transformation, and you’ll enjoy the results long after you leave our spa.
Pamper Yourself with Natural Products
When your skin is hurting, the last thing we want to do is pile on chemicals and preservatives we can’t pronounce. Skin flourishes when it’s treated with real, natural ingredients; because of this, we are adamant in only offering clean products for all our facials, massages, and body treatments. So if you’re looking for a natural reset during your time in Steamboat Springs, contact our team at Euphoria Day Spa to see how we can bring your body back into balance.
